"Mighty Writer helps all learners, enables collaborative learning for concepts such as nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs, openers, connectives and punctuation. It makes learners thinking visible, encourages shared sustained thinking in groups and as whole class, it enables self and peer feedback loops to be shared and built upon in the moment too.
It is a tool that lends itself to differentiation of writing skills from those who need individual support with an adult to those who need challenging independent groups.
Learner's ideas can be created, adapted and improved visually, with the barrier of writing removed. The structured and differentiated templates for different genres allow all learners to plan writing consistently too.
For those learners who use digital jotters, it is great to be able to pop photos of their visual stories into One Note or Word docs for them to continue either typing or to use Speech to Text and then to listen back with Immersive Reader.
What would be amazing if there was a digital editable planning template available to help support learners who are working digitally."
